Thank you for taking the time to find out more about me and my desire to become your Kendall County Sheriff. For the past several years, I have given much thought about how I could make a greater impact and difference in people’s lives in our Kendall County communities. After much encouragement from family and friends over the past few years, I decided to retire as a Texas DPS Senior State Trooper August 31, 2011, and immediately begin my campaign on September 1, 2011 to be your Republican Candidate for Kendall County Sheriff.
I have devoted my more than 24 year career in law enforcement and public safety to protecting the citizens of Texas, the last 21 and a half committed to Kendall County. I am dedicated to providing the citizens and communities of Kendall County with the highest quality of service so that our communities can continue to maintain the safest environment in which to live and raise a family.
The motto of the Texas Department of Public Safety is: Courtesy ~ Service ~ Protection. These qualities are what I was commissioned under, and continue to incorporate into my daily life, and will carry over into my position as Kendall County Sheriff.
As a retired TX DPS Senior Trooper and successful business owner, I have an in-depth understanding of the investigative and judicial system as well as management, supervision and administration skills. I hold a Master Peace Officer Proficiency Certificate with more than 4300 hours of advanced training.
